Philips Hue and why is having an rgb color loop so hard?

How the freaking hell are these still at the top of everything. All I want is simple color loops and stuff and a decade later we still don't have an easy solution. I can't believe having an amazon echo is the easiest way to have color loops and stuff.

And then the prices of the bulbs are ridiculous but my other choices are these sketchy other smart bulbs that don't work as well still. Still deciding between hue and govee for a fun room.
